Yarra river canoe

Tour guide Bronny filled our slightly hungover Sunday with a canoe trip on the Yarra.

After freaking out over what was apparently Australia’s only non-venomous animal, we had a great day paddling our way down the river hearing various foreign squawks from the bushes at the waters edge and the panting of joggers on the tow path adjacent to the wide Yarra.

Kindly Bronny refrained from splashing me and when back on dry land we were feeling in the mood for a coffee and walk.

The Yarra Bend had a great network of footpaths that twisted around and over the river.

Kane’s bridge: the entrance to snake town in snake season. Fantastic
